I was extremely glad I was unable to sing with you because I had the absolute JOY of listening to and watching the choir instead! You were all simply superb – everyone was watching you, most were smiling throughout the Abba pieces & “I feel pretty”, and the emotion in the final one from West Side Story was palpable, people were in tears.
Alresford Community Choir has given me the chance to rediscover my singing voice, within a community of like-minded people of all age ranges.
I can’t begin to tell you how much I’m enjoying being a 1st alto in the second row on Monday evenings.
I used to do a lot of singing and it's really great being back there again!
I am so enjoying the singing and the tunes are going round and round in my head as I go about my day. The good effects are on-going - even singing in the
car park as I try to find a space so I can get to my office. I feel quite euphoric!
Thanks for a great 3 weeks of singing with the Community Choir. Great fun!
I am so delighted to have found you and the Alresford Community Choir. It is simply splendid because I moved from London sometime ago and hoped I would be able to sing with a local choir... it is such fun and stimulating to learn new music. Thank you for being so encouraging and enthusiastic.
I really look forward to Monday evenings - there is a very supportive, friendly atmosphere amongst the choir and best of all, it is great FUN!
I cannot quite believe that I will be singing in Winchester Cathedral later this year!
